ALL IRELAND SENIOR HURLING FINAL: The club would lie to extend its congratulations to the Limerick Senior Hurling team and management on winning a historic Three In A Row All Ireland Titles recently in Croke Park over Kilkenny. Well done to all in this magnificent achievement.
ALL IRELAND POC FADA FINALS: The All Ireland Poc Fada finals was launched recently in Croke Park. Defending mens champion Colin Ryan was in attendance and will defend his crown against a high calibre field which includes Antrim hurling star Neil McManus. The competition takes place on Annaverna Mountain, in the Cooley Range, Ravensdale, Co Louth Monday August 1st.

SYMPATHIES: The club would like to express its sympathies to the family of the late Nicholas Stoke of Essex, England and late of Garavan. Nicholas was the last survivor of the great Stokes GAA dynasty in Pallasgreen, along with his brothers Dr Dick, Jimmy, Eddie and John all immersed in Pallasgreen GAA Club and Limerick. Their contribution to the club was inspirational and their actions on the field is legendary. Nicholas was a great stalwart with the club who played in some glorious games until professional duties shortened his playing career. He was involved in the 1958 junior hurling victory over Granagh at Kilimallock alongside his brothers Eddie and John. He won a Harty Cup medal with St Flannan’s and two Fitzgibbon cup medals with UCD in 1957 and 1959, He also donned the Limerick jersey on numerous occasions. His Funeral Mass will take place at 11.30 am on Thursday, August 4th, 2022 at St. Thomas of Canterbury Catholic Church, 557-559 Woodford High Road, Woodford Green, Essex IG8 ORB. Cremation will take place immediately afterwards at Forest Park Crematorium. Sympathies to his nephews and nieces, relatives and many friends. Ar Dheis de go raibh an anam dilis.
