PALLASGREEN GAA CLUB GOLF CLASSIC: Pallasgreen GAA Club will hold a Golf Classic on Friday August 12 in Ballykisteen Golf Club. Prizes include Fourballs at some of Irelands leading golf courses. ALL IRELAND POC FADA FINALS: The All Ireland Poc Fada finals was launched recently in Croke Park. Defending mens champion Colin Ryan was in attendance and will defend his crown against a high calibre field which includes Antrim hurling star Neil McManus. The competition takes place on Annaverna Mountain, in the Cooley Range, Ravensdale, Co Louth Monday August 1st.

FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP RESULT: A spirited performance by the intermediate footballers wasn’t enough to take the spoils against fancied Gerald Griffins last Friday evening in Croagh. Pallas led at the
break 0-7 to 0-3 but couldn’t sustain the intensity heading into the second half and were defeated by 1-10 to 0-10.
LADIES FOOTBALL: Well done to the ladies football who had a narrow one point win over Galtee Gaels in Knockane last Sunday morning. The final score was Pallas 3-7 Galtee Gaels 3-6
