Oola GAA Club Notes:
East Junior League Semi Final:
Oola played Ballybricken in the semi-final of the East Junior A League on 29th May. The score at half time was Oola 0-5 Ballybricken 0-6. Oola got a vital goal in the second half, scored by Tom Bob, which gave a little breathing space. Oola won out on a score line of 1-11 to 0-10. The win secured Oola a spot in the East Junior League Final, where they face Ballybrown. Having drawn in the group stages this promises to be a close battle.
The final will be played Friday 9th July at 7:30 in Fedamore. All support is appreciated.

South Senior League:
Oola played Galtee Gaels on Thursday 1st June in the South Senior League Final. On a lovely sunny evening in Knocklong. Oola trailed at half time 1-5 to 0-2, Oola’s points came from the boot of Garth Thomas and a free from Tom Ryan Bob. Oola started the second half well and had much of the possession but unfortunately could not convert on the scoreboard. Galtee Gaels proved the stronger team and ran out winners on a scoreline of 2-9 to 0-6.

U13 Boys Championship:
Our U13s boys played Bruff on Thursday 1st June on a lovey sunny evening in Bruff . Oola recorded another win in the competition, beating Bruff by a goal. The score was Oola 4-3 Bruff 3-3, the Oola team was captained on the night by Eoin Murphy.
