Senior Football Result
Oola suffered a second defeat in a row in the senior football championship loosing to favourites Newcastle West in Kilmallock on Saturday 9th July. The half time score was Oola 0-5 Newcastle West 1-3. Oola unlucky not to go in in front at half time with 3 lovely points from play from Alan Daly and Colin O’Grady. Josh Ryan kicked over 2 frees. The second half saw Newcastle West score 1-6 to Oola’s 0-3, their goal coming in the last minute of the game.
There is a break now in the championship until mid-August with a lot of work to be done to get the championship back on track.

Hard luck to the Limerick Ladies won lost out to Fermanagh on Sunday last. Well done to the girls from Oola who played their part in getting to the All-Ireland semi-final.
