On this date Sunday 2nd February 2020, Limerick Senior Hurlers and Footballers continued their Allianz League campaign, just one week scoring wins in the opening Round of the League making a very good start to what was going to be a very successful year for both teams.

The footballers were making their second Division Four, Allianz Football League appearance, with a noon throw in, when they entertained London in Mick Neville Park and they scored a win by the narrowest of margins on a score line Limerick 0.08 London 0.07

Meanwhile the hurlers played host to Galway in LIT Gaelic Grounds Round Two, Division 1 Allianz Hurling League where they scored their second victory defeating the visitors by 1.19 to 0.14
