Diarmuid Lyons and Cathal Hayes were in action for Limerick Minor Hurlers against Waterford on Tuesday 21st March in Dungarvan. Great start to the campaign beating Waterford by three points. Cathal scored the only goal that Limerick scored on the night. Well done to Cathal and Diarmuid and all involved with the team. Limerick 1-07 Waterford 0-07. Limerick meet Clare in round 2 on Tuesday 28th @ 7 pm in TUS Gaelic Grounds.
A rescheduled game on Saturday last, the U20’s Hurlers were also out in action against Waterford. Ethan Hurley (captain) and Con Hayes were two club men playing with Pa Keane in management. A Con Hayes goal in the first half set the team on their way to an impressive victory. Well done all. Limerick 1-18 Waterford 1-14

Limerick Hurlers reach the Allianz National Hurling League Final
Saturday evening saw the Limerick hurlers in action against Tipperary in the semi-final of the league. A game of two halves with Tipperary firing on all cylinders in the first half and Limerick not being let play as they can. After Tipperary dominated the first half, the second half saw a much more determined Limerick side perform with accuracy. Tipperary after giving it all in the first half, ran out of steam and options. In the end an impressive performance showcasing Limerick’s skill. No goals conceded and twelve of the fifteen Limerick players having their name on the scoreboard making a statement for sure. Limerick progress to meet Kilkenny in the final. Fixture yet to be decided on going to press. Well done all! Limerick 1-28 Tipperary 0-25.
Footballers reach end of League.
Limerick footballers ended their season long stay in Division Two of the National League with a crushing defeat to Clare in Cusack Park against Clare. Hard luck to all involved and here is hoping for a refresh and better days ahead for the championship. Clare 2-18 Limerick 0-09.
