Adult Hurling
Our hurlers had an agonising 1pt defeat to Adare in the final of the West Senior Hurling Championship on a scoreline of 1.14 to 1.13 in Ballingarry on the 9th of June. This represented a significant improvement on our group stage encounter, and the improvement against a top senior side bodes well for the season ahead.
Adult Football
In the county league semi-final we recorded an impressive 2.9 to 0.10 win over Monaleen In Askeaton, having been down 0.3 to 0.9 at HT. The county final is currently scheduled for Friday the 17th of June, venue and time TBC.
Note: Our West Senior Football Championship Final against St. Kierans has been postponed until the 21st of June, and is currently scheduled for 7pm in Ballyhahill.
Limerick Senior Footballers
Hard luck to Billy Lee and the Limerick senior footballers on their 2.18 to 1.16 defeat to Cork in the final round of qualifiers in Pairc Ui Caoimh. This brought to and end what has been a hugely positive season for Limerick, having qualified for D2 of the National League and qualified for the first Munster final since 2010. As a club we are very proud of the efforts of Billy, Iain, Cian, Diarmuid, Shane, Jimmy, Austin, Liam and James.
Limerick Senior Hurlers
Well done to John Kiely, his management team and the Limerick senior hurling panel on winning their fourth successive Munster Championship thus qualifying for the all-Ireland semi final on the weekend of the 3rd of July.
