Follow the onscreen instructions to set up, so you will never again miss out on the latest club news, fixtures, results, lotto draw results etc. Lotto can be played through the app.
Scór Sinsear 2022
Newcastle West GAA is looking for participants, over 18 years of age, to take part in this year’s Limerick County Senior Scór Competition. The competition events in Scór include, Solo Singing, Ballad Group, Recitation/Story Telling, Novelty Act, Instrumental Music, Table Quiz, Set Dancing and Figure Dancing. You must be a member of Newcastle GAA or Camogie Club to participate.
There are no preliminary rounds. The Limerick County Final takes place on Saturday, October 1st at 7pm, venue to be confirmed. The Tráth na gCeist competition takes place on Thursday, September 29th at 8pm in Mungret. The Munster Final takes place on October 15th

Adult Hurling
Hard luck to our Premier Intermediate hurlers who lost out to a David Riedy inspired Dromin Athlacca side on a scoreline of 3.13 to 1.16. This result leaves us in 5th position on 7 points, and means our final round fixture against Knockainey on the weekend of the 29th of September is a must win encounter.
Adult Football
The final round of the senior football championship takes place on Sunday the 25th of September at 4pm in Dromcolliher, when we will take on Fr Casey’s to decide who will top the group and go straight to the semi final stage. Best of luck to all involved!
U17
Our U17 hurling championship has been completed for 2022. Despite having very few on the age we competed very well in Division 2 and those matches will stand the boys in good stead going forward.
In the U17 football we put in a huge second half performance to defeat Mungret on a scoreline of 6.5 to 0.8, and put in display of immense heart and character losing out narrowly to St Senan’s, 2.11 to 5.8.
In our final round fixture we travel to St Patrick’s on Wednesday the 21st to see who will finish runner up in the group, result not available at time of going to print. Best of luck to to the boys and their management.
U15
We have played all of our competitive matches at this age grade, training will continue into September and October.
U13
The U13s followed up their county hurling championship success with a victory over Bruff in the Football Shield semi-final, by the narrowest of margins – 1.5 to 0.7. We face Na Piarsigh in the final, details TBC. In our 2 enouncters to date we are tied on one victory apiece, winner takes all in the final. Best of luck to the boys and their management!
U11
The U11s travelled to Coolcappagh Tuesday the 13th of September for a hurling match and their next match is against Knockaderry on the 27th of September. Training continues on Thursday nights. Numbers continue to be very impressive at this age, will done to all involved.
U9
Well done to our U9s who took on Monagea in a football match on the 19th of September in NCW. We continue with matches or training on Monday and Friday nights.
U7
Training continues from 6-7pm on Fridays and blitzes have recommenced on Saturday mornings for this age group, details to provided by coaches.
