NA PIARSAIGH GAA.

INTERMEDIATE HURLERS
Congratulations to our intermediate hurlers who book a place in this years County Final.
A close contest against a good Granagh Ballingarry side played in decent conditions if a little heavy underfoot.
We led at the break by 9 points to 5 with points from Shane Dowling, Evan Sweeney, James Daly, Kevin Daly and Pat Gleeson
We began the second half well also and had 4 further points on the board courtesy of Evan Sweeney, Pat Gleeson and Kevin Daly to stretch our lead.
However Granagh got their purple patch and narrow the deficit to a minimum.
A response from James Daly was followed swiftly by brother Kieran to open the lead again but three quick-fire points from our opponents has us level with time almost up.
Up stepped Dylan Cronin to save the day with a brilliantly executed point to seal the win and a place in the final against Croagh Kilfinny in a few weeks time.
Best for us on the day Shane Dowling solid out in goal, Niall , Conor and Padraic in the full back line and up front Kevin Daly and Evan Sweeney worked hard.
Final Score Na Piarsaigh 0-17 Granagh Ballingarry 0-16
