NA PIARSAIGH GAA CLUB NOTES
LIMERICK
The Limerick senior hurlers continued their league campaign when they travelled to Ennis to take on the locals.
Having failed in three previous league outings it was hoped for a better performance.
Heavy training and injuries are contributing factors and no doubt a little ring rust also.
It was great news to hear that Na Piarsaigh stalwart Mike Casey was back on the matchday 26 following a lengthy and trying absence.
We started quick and looked a lot hungrier than previous outings and no doubt John Kiely will be much happier with the application of his troops.
A lot of work to do as the Munster Championship fast approaches with a meeting with Cork on the horizon in mid April.
Will O Donoghue seeing action in the middle of the field showing his usual high work ethic.
Incidentally the game finished level with quite a few chances spurned at the end.
Our last league outing is in two weeks time in the Gaelic Grounds where our opponents are Offaly. A must win game to avoid relegation and our last chance to prepare for Cork in Cork.
