NA PIARSAIGH GAA CLUB NOTES
AGM 2021
Our annual general meeting will take place on Monday, December 6th at 8 pm.
At this time we hope to hold the AGM face to face in the clubhouse but this is dependant on Covid guidelines.
This will be publically known if this changes.
All nominations and proposals must be with the secretary 21 days prior to the meeting on Nov 15th at the close of business.
UNDER 21 FOOTBALL
Our under 21 footballers faced Fr Caseys in Rathkeale last Friday night.
We had a horrific first half and only scored a solitary point in the first half We trailed by 1-10 to 0-1.
The second half was much improved and huge credit to the effort shown.
However the mountain was too high and in spite of scoring 1-9 to 0-7 in the second half, it was defeat on a 1-17 to 1-10 scoreline.
UNDER 21 HURLERS
Our under 21 hurlers also saw action against Kilmallock on Tuesday evening and were made fight to the bitter end. Minus the services of a quite a few key players we never got up to the speed of the contest and it was Emmet McEvoy who saved our bacon with a last minutes goal to end the contest in a draw.
Next up for the lads is Doon under lights in Knocklong. We wish them both well.
BINGO
Our weekly bingo has resumed each Tuesday evening with first call at 8pm sharp.
Jackpot is €2100 in 50 numbers or less.
All are welcome to join the craic.
LOTTO
Our jackpot has now reached €8500.
Last weeks draw yielded no jackpot winner but 3 lucky dip winners were Eoin Shannon, Ben Meade and Ciarea Gilvarry.

Collections are ongoing for all your unwanted clothes, bed linen, towels, curtains, shoes, bags and soft toys. Please no duvets or pillows accepted.
Collections are every Wednesday and Friday from 7 to 8pm and Saturday morning 9.30 to 11.30am
