CLUB LIMERICK DRAW.

The July draw took place during the week and the club had 1 winner in John Hehir.

LIMERICK SENIOR HURLERS

No joy for the Limerick Senior Hurlers over the weekend when they came up just short against the Cats in Croke Park on Saturday.
A little slow out of the traps which allowed the cats to open up a lead which we struggled to ever close.
Huge credit to the lads who fought so hard and looked to have got the game under control nearing half time where we brought the deficit from 8 to 3 points.
The second half belonged to Limerick but some erratic shooting left us down and a total of 15 wides will haunt the lads.
A brilliant goal from Shane Dowling put us back in the game with time almost up and when Daragh O Donovans line ball took a deflection it seemed like the game was heading for extra time but somehow all the officials missed the 65??
A bitter ending to what was a great fight back and one which will no doubt add a steely determination for next season.
Congratulations to all our Limerick panelists Peter And Mike Casey, Kevin Downes, Shane Dowling, Will O Donoghue, David Dempsey, Conor Boylan for what has been an unbelievable 18 months.
Roll on 2020….

Congratulations to Lizanna Boylan who captained Limericks Under 15 camogie team to victory over the weekend in the All Ireland Final v Kilkenny.
Great stuff Lizanna you did your club and county proud.
