Na Piarsaigh GAA Club Notes:

Massive congratulations to the Limerick senior hurling team who qualified for yet another All Ireland senior hurling final following a excellent win over Galway.
This team continues to break records and we are so proud to have 4 brilliant representatives in the squad.
Mike Casey, Will O Donoghue, Peter Casey and Conor Boylan all seeing action in a pulsating game.
We wish all concerned the very best wishes as they prepare for the challenge of Kilkenny in 2 weeks

We also had representatives on the underage squads over the weekend.
The Limerick under 14s stopped off in Moneygall to take on Tipperary on their way to Croker and had a great outing.
Shane Waters and Daragh Kirwan our representatives on the squad.
The Limerick under 15 hurlers were also in action where they faced Galway in Gort also on the way to Croke Park and had a great win.
We had Conor Bermingham, Danny Sheehan, David O Keefe, Marcus Murphy and Alex Kearns all in the squad.
Well done to all the teams

Senior Footballers:
Our senior footballers were back in action in round 2 of the championship when they travelled to Mungret to take on Adare on Friday evening.
It was a close affair especially in the first half with the strong breeze at our backs in the opening stages.
We played some good football in those opening 30 minutes and got some excellent scores courtesy of Dylan Cronin and Evan Egan.
We did however concede a sucker punch of a goal before the break to undo all our good work.
We began the second half against the breeze and again created many openings and should possibly have raised a green flag or two ourselves. Adare showed their experience and slowly pulled away but not for the valiant effort from our lads.
Final score was Adare 1-10 Na Piarsaigh 0-4
team: Eoghain Sherlock, Diarmuid Ryan, Shane Walsh, Ralph Leonard, Reuben McCarthy, Cathal McMullen, Evan O Brien, Ruairi O Connaill, Ronan Houlihan, Kevin Nolan, Evan Sweeney, John Moloney, Dean McLoughlin, Dylan Cronin, Evan Egan.. U13 Hurlers:
Our under 13 hurlers opened their campaign when they travelled to Kilmallock to take on the locals. A tough game with no quarter asked or given. We unfortunately came out on the wrong side of a 1-7 to 1-4. A good performance with lots to work on for the weeks ahead.

Summer Camp Week 1:
We held our first of two weeks summer camp last week with some excellent skills on show.
We wish to thank all our coaches who gave great support all week and also thanks the kids and parents for again supporting our camp.
Week 2 will be held in August 21 to 25th inclusive.
