Our under 15 footballers were in Feile action over the weekend where they were drawn in a group with Kildimo Pallaskenry and St Kierans
First up were our hosts Kildimo Pallaskenry who proved too strong for us but we were back on track in the second game where we overcame the challenge of St. Kierans.
We qualified for the semi final by virtue of a better scoring difference and so a semi final with Shannon Gaels Athea on Saturday morning.
We were playing extremely well in this game but succumbed to two late goals to lose out on a 2-5 to 1-3 score-line.
A big thank you to all the players for their huge efforts and a special word of thanks to the hard working management.
You did a brilliant job and lets keep the good work going.
Massive congratulations to the victorious Ardscoil Ris team who defeated St Kierans College in Thursday decider.
A huge achievement by this team who have had their fair share of ups and downs.
With 3 starters on the team in full back John Fitzgerald who was excellent until substituted with injury, Joint captain Vince Harrington who never put a foot wrong and JJ Carey who worked his socks off from the first whistle.
Dylan Lynch was a second half substitute who supplied the killer pass for the all decisive goal in the second half.
We also had Andrew Stack, Jim Beary, Wayne Kearns, Pa O Neill and Cian Brosnan on the squad.
We congratulate each and every one of you on this momentous achievement and look forward to seeing you back in Na Piarsaigh blue in the coming weeks and months.
It was brilliant to see so many Na Piarsaigh players in the parade on Thursday.
A big bualadh bas to all who took part on the day and huge credit to the mentors and parents for their help on the day.
The kids had a great day and a great experience for all of them.
The weekly bingo is going along nicely with the usual regulars having the craic .
The snowball remains at €2100 in 50 numbers or less.
Why not give it a try any Tuesday. Doors open at 7.30pm with first call at 8pm.
All are welcome
It was brilliant to see Mike Casey make his long awaited comeback from injury on Sunday in the gaelic Grounds.
He started at full back and was his assured brilliant best against Offaly.
A huge boost for both Na Piarsaigh and Limerick for the weeks and months ahead.
Conor Boylan also seeing game time in an empathic win for Limerick.
A final call to all our supporters and members to get their tickets for the club limerick draw which takes place next Saturday on the Live 95fm sports show.
