Another brilliant day for our Limerick senior hurlers who claimed the 4th Munster title in a row with an extra time victory over Clare.
A ding dong battle from start to finish where little was spared.
Another powerful performance from Mike Casey who was rock solid at full back thwarting any danger that came his way.
Will O Donoghue was his usual powerful self in the middle of the field when space was a premium but he excelled as the game progressed and chipped in with an extra time point.
Conor Boylan also saw action and provided a very timely score in extra time also.
Overall a very satisfying day to beat the neighbors as we now sit back and await the quarter-final games to take place.
Here is hoping we get further good news on the injury front so as to have a full squad to select from.
July 3rd appears to be our next outing so we have a few weeks to prepare.
Once again congratulations to Limerick on another chapter in their history
