LIMERICK SENIOR HURLERS
Congratulations to the Limerick Senior hurlers on yet another great victory over the weekend.
This time it was Waterford who were put to the sword after a tough encounter at the Gaelic Grounds on Saturday night.
With 3 of the starting fifteen from the Na Piarsaigh it was good to see Mike Casey get another game under his belt along with Conor Boylan being given his chance and he worked hard until his substitution on fifty minutes. The middle third of the field was superbly patrolled by the enforcer that is Will O Donoghue who again showed why he is such a vital cog for Limerick.
Next up is Tipperary in two weeks’ time in the Gaelic Grounds before an away date with Clare.

Our weekly jackpot is now up to €3700 following last week’s draw.
The numbers drawn were 08, 16, 19, and 21. No jackpot winner but we did have three lucky dip winners of €30 each

FEILE CAMOGIE
This week it was the turn of the girls to sample Feile action when they travelled out to Mick Neville Park
First up was Granagh Ballingarry and following a real tough battle they came out on top in the narrowest of margins on a scoreline of 1-1 to 0-3.
Next up was Bruff and again a tough battle ensued. We managed to get the vital scores and ran out winners on a 3-2 to 1-2 scoreline.
The final group game was against Blackrock Effin and this really was a hard-fought game, with Blackrock Effin getting the only goal of the game which proved the difference.
And so to the final where again we faced Blackrock Effin. Unfortunately, this time around our girls began to tire and it was Blackrock Effin who were that much sharper in the final to run out convincing winners on a 4-6 TO 1-3 scoreline.
Well done to the management and full squad of players who were a credit to the club all through….
