NA PIARSAIGH

LIMERICK SENIOR HURLERS
Now that the dust has settled, I wish to congratulate the Limerick Senior Hurlers and management team on their magnificent achievement of the 3 in a row.
What a time to be a Limerick Hurling supporter and one we cherish as we think back a few short years when all was not well.
We pay special tribute to our four Na Piarsaigh stalwarts who have all played a massive part in this year’s success.
To Mike Casey who had a torrid 19months or so and still had the courage of his conviction to fight back and make the number 3 jersey his own with some tenacious performances this year.
Will O Donoghue in midfield has surely covered every blade of grass on most of the county grounds at this stage, working tirelessly for the team with a huge appetite for work and physical contact.
Conor Boylan made his impact as a sub on various outings and scored a brilliant point in the final at a crucial stage.
Peter Casey is back in the green and white after a very tough 9 months of rehabilitation from cruciate damage seeing action in the semi-final and final.
We are immensely proud of these 4 men and their achievements to date and the roles they play not only with the county but the club too.
We now look forward to seeing them in action in Na Piarsaigh blue this coming weekend
