U-16 FOOTBALL
Mungret St. Pauls 6-10 Newcastle West 2-6
On Monday 8 April in our home pitch we welcomed Newcastle West on Monday 8 April 2019. Mungret St. Pauls were very dominant in this game and worked in unison with each other to provide a great score. A fantastic way to open their championship and possibly a team to watch. They next line out against Monaleen in Monaleen on Monday 22 April.

MINOR B FOOTBALL
Mungret St. Pauls 0-3 St. Senans 2-10
This was a tough match for our second Minor football team when they played St. Senans in Askeaton on Friday 12 April. They kept the pressure on and were blocked down when they were going for their own scores. They now take a break until July.

U-14 FEILE HURLING
Our U-14 players had a great day in Mick Neville Park on Saturday 13 April with an early start having the first match at 10am against and evenly matched Doon. Finishing on equal score of five points each.
The second match against Garryspillane was a great boost for the team as they easily took the win, not letting Garryspillane get any score in.
The last match of the day was against Kildimo Pallaskenry who had lost a match and drew a match, Mungret St. Pauls were on the better footing going into the game and put a lot of effort into their play. It all paid off as they drew by the final whistle. Mungret St. Pauls 1-6 Kildimo Pallaskenry 2-3. They now regroup and prepare for the Semi Final having topped their group.

PREMIER INTERMEDIATE HURLING
Mungret St. Pauls 1-16 Cappamore 0-12
On Sunday 14 April in Claughaun in the cold with a strong cross field breeze Mungret St. Pauls came out of the blocks strong and kept up the pressure throughout the game.
It was a tight game in the first half as Mungret St. Pauls got themselves into the game. Each point was well earned by the break it was Mungret St. Pauls on 8 points with Cappamore on 6 points.
Mungret St. Pauls kept the pressure on in the second half and kept the lead throughout by the third quarter they had pulled ahead by 5 points, the game was not over yet and everything could change.
