St. Stephens Day:
Dreoilín Dreoilín Rí na nÉan. Wren day in CLG Mungairit Naomh Pól with an ever growing crowd each year of this festive tradition! Well done to the musicians and dancers and thank you to all who attended.
St.Stephen’s Day Charity Football match in aid of St. Vincents Foundation ( charity that supports transplant research and innovation and raises awareness about organ donation)

Limerick Awards:
A great night was had on Saturday 20 December when Seamus McNamara Chairman of Limerick GAA made the presentations at the Limerick Footballers Medal Presentation for the Division 4 National League winners and runners up medals in the Tailteann Cup Final that took place at the Woodlands House Hotel. Well done to management- Pa Ranahan, Micheál Cahill and Eoin O’Hagan and to players Killian Ryan, Darragh O’Hagan, Jack McCarthy, Ronan McElligott and Jason Hassett who unfortunately was unavailable on the night.

Ireland Lights Up:
Happy New Year to all, please join us on Wednesday 7th January for our first Ireland Lights Up community walk of 2026. We will meet at Mungret St. Pauls GAA community centre at 7.30pm. Please wear a Hi-Vis ️vest. Our route is under 6km with footpaths, lighting and pedestrian crossings for safety. All are welcome

Limerick Players:
Mungret St. Pauls had great representation in the Limerick Senior Football matches at the weekend, on Friday night, 2 January 2026, Ciaran Uwatse, Oisin Moss, Tom Lloyd and Ronan McElligott on the pitch in the League match played in Mick Neville Park against Tipperary where they took a loss.
On Saturday, 3 January 2026, there was a second Limerick Football team they played against a fine Meath team in a challenge in Mungret. Mungret St. Pauls had Killian Ryan, Jason Hassett and Jack McCarthy playing.
On Saturday, 3 January 2026, the Limerick Senior Hurlers were in Tulla, Co. Clare where they played Clare and were just knocked to second best on the day in one of the last shots. Mungret St. Pauls are delighted to have had Fintan Fitzgerald on the panel and scoring Limericks third goal on the day.
We would like to congratulate all our players in their performances over the weekend and look forward to seeing more of them in the green jersey.
