Junior C Camogie:
Hard luck to our Limerick Motor Centre sponsored Junior C Camogie team who battled hard against Tournafulla at home last Sunday in the C Shield Final!
After a slow start Mungret gradually came into the game, and at halftime there was just 3 points between them. Tournafulla had a purple patch in the 2nd half and built up a lead that we just couldn’t claw back.
Limerick Camogie:
Congratulations to our #MSPCamogie crew who will wear the green jersey of Limerick yet again when they step up to the U16 squad in 2026 Chloe McAuliffe, Saoirse Browne, Lucy Barry, Eilis O’Neill. We are very proud of the 4 of you and look forward to seeing you all
in action in the new year!
Minor Ladies Football:
Mungret St Pauls 2-03 Feohanagh Castlemahon 4-08.
Hard luck to our Minor team who narrowly lost out to Feohanagh/Castlemahon on Sunday 10th November in the second round of their championship. The girls were trailing by a point at half time and despite their best efforts to take the lead it unfortunately wasn’t to be on the day for them. They have their final group game this coming Sunday away to Fr Caseys on Sunday morning at 11am. All support is greatly appreciated as always.
Sarsfield Cup:
Well done to all the players who represented their clubs and schools in the Sarsfield Cup this week. Mungret St. Pauls are delighted to have 6 players wear their divisions jersey with pride. Colm played on the East team who were unlucky in their result against the West team.
There were 5 players on the City Sarsfield cup team Danny, Jamie, Mattie, Sean and Carter who had a win over the South team.
The Limerick City will now meet West Limerick in the final of the Sarsfield Cup which will take place on Wednesday November 19.

U20 Premier Hurling:
Mungret St. Pauls 4-18 Bruff 3-15
Mungret St. Pauls produced a powerful and composed performance in Mick Neville Park on Thursday 13 November 2025 to claim a deserved victory over a spirited Bruff side, finishing eight-point winners after a first-half scoring burst paved the way for success. Bruff opened the scoring inside the first minute with a free, but Mungret St. Pauls replied immediately with a well-taken point from play. The early exchanges were tight, with Bruff edging ahead 0-4 to
0-2 after six minutes as they took advantage of placed balls and sharp shooting. Mungret St. Pauls, however, settled into the contest and began to find their rhythm. 3 points from play kept the sides level, and when a long-range ’65 was expertly converted on 15 minutes, Mungret St. Pauls drew level again at 0-6 apiece. The turning point arrived near the end of the first half—seven minutes of devastating hurling that Bruff simply couldn’t contain. A
brilliantly worked move resulted in Mungret St. Pauls first goal, quickly followed by a second just two minutes later. The red and white were suddenly in full flow, and Bruff’s defence struggled to match the pace and precision of the Mungret St. Pauls forwards.
Bruff managed a point to briefly steady themselves, but Mungret St. Pauls struck again with a third goal on 25 minutes, pushing the gap to eight. A point from play moments later kept the momentum firmly in Mungret St. Pauls favour before a fourth goal a minute later capped
off a remarkable spell that saw them race into a 4-8 to 0-8 lead at the break. Though Bruff would battle hard in the second half—eventually finishing with 3-15—the foundation laid by Mungret St. Pauls blistering first-half run proved unshakeable. They kept the scoreboard ticking throughout the second period, adding ten more points to maintain control and ensure the margin never seriously narrowed. In the end, Mungret St. Pauls’ combination of scoring efficiency, teamwork, and a ruthless first-half surge proved too much for Bruff. It was a confident, intelligent performance and a statement victory to see them top the group table with 3 wins.
