Senior Football:
Mungret St. Pauls 3-10 Monaleen 0-14
On Saturday 1 March 2025 Mungret St. Pauls Senior Footballers welcomed Monaleen to the Senior pitch for the first round of the League. This was a steady game for Mungret St. Pauls as they hit hard with goals to take the win.
The first few scores were shared between the two sides with Mungret St. Pauls scoring the first two pointer, they followed this up with the first goal and it was this goal that separated the two sides at the half time break.
The second half restarted in a similar way as both sides shared points with Mungret St. Pauls getting in the second goal in the first five minutes to extend their lead. Monaleen then hit a purple patch as they went seven points on the trot with Mungret St. Pauls third goal putting a halt to their scoring to finish the game in style.
