Junior B Football:
Mungret St. Pauls 0-10 South Liberties 0-7
On Saturday 22 February 2025 our Junior B Footballers took on near neighbours South Liberties in the first match of the year with the new Football rules.
Both sides opened with one point but it was Mungret St. Pauls that scored the first two pointer which started to extend the lead that Mungret St. Pauls never released throughout the game. Before the break there were another two individual points for Mungret St. Pauls and one for South Liberties who put the Mungret St. Pauls goalie under pressure but he did an excellent job clearing the ball away. Half time score Mungret St. Pauls 0-5 South Liberties 0-2. The second half saw South Liberties push a bit more on their scores but Mungret St. Pauls held tough and retained their lead and a first win to the 2025 League season.
