County Football:
The second round of the Allianz Football League took place on Sunday 2 February in Mick Neville Park against Wexford. Mungret St. Pauls are delighted to have both Killian Ryan and Darragh O’Hagan in action on the pitch and Michéal Cahill and Pa Ranahan involved in the coaching. It was not Limericks day as Wexford got the better of them. The next round is in McGovern Park, Ruislip on Sunday 16 February at 12.30pm against London.
County Hurling:
The Limerick Senior Hurlers had their first round match of the Allianz hurling league on Saturday evening, 1 February, against Cork in SuperValu Pairc Ui Chaoimh where it was into extra time when Cork tied with Limerick. The next game is against Tipperary in TUS Gaelic Grounds on Sunday 9 February at 3.45pm.
County Camogie:
Minors – Congratulations to our very own Jayne Casey who was part of the Limerick Minor Panel who, after some venue chopping & changing finally headed to Fethard Town Park, Tipperary to play Tipperary on Sunday night. They were delighted to secure a place in the Munster Final when they came away with a win.
Full time score: Limerick 0-9 Tipperary 0-5
U16B – Unfortunately due to the challenging weather at the weekend, the original shield final fixture v Clare in Mountcollins was postponed. As soon as we know the refixed date, we will post on socials.
