Junior B Football:
Mungret St. Pauls 2-13 Bruree 2-5
It was out the road to Meanus on Thursday 6 June 2024 for the County Junior B Football League Semi Final against Bruree. There were only seven points between the two teams a few minutes into the second quarter with Mungret St. Pauls holding the one point lead. A boost on the score board for Mungret St. Pauls came from their first goal but just nudged in before the half time whistle Bruree hit the net also, leaving Mungret St. Pauls still in the lead Mungret St. Pauls 1-5 Bruree 1-3.
This lead was short lived, from the restart when Bruree bounced the ball into the back of the net. A reply of four quick points handed the lead back to Mungret St. Pauls added to this was a second goal from a penalty. Bruree kept the pressure up but Mungret St. Pauls proved too strong and kept a good lead until the full time whistle. This win now sees Mungret St. Pauls play St. Kierans in the County League Final.

On Thursday 6 June 2024 out U-14 Division 1 Hurlers travelled to Kileedy to play Kileedy Tournafulla in the next round of their group games. The sun was shining as Mungret St. Pauls played a very enjoyable game of hurling with some great scores and excellent team work through out. Althought they were down some of the players on the age the 12 year olds that were called up put in a very strong game giving Mungret St. Pauls their second win. Well done to all for making the journey and playing very well.

Senior Football:
Mungret St. Pauls 0-10 Fr. Caseys 3-10
It was a dry but breezy Saturday, 8 June 2024 in the Bog Garden in Rathkeale when Mungret St. Pauls played Fr. Caseys in the County League Semi Final. This game was a great showcase of Senior Football where any slight wrong move was punished by a quick moving opposition, with both teams getting their fair share of chances.
Fr. Caseys were not shy in showing how they score as they had a goal from a penalty and two points before Mungret St. Pauls pointed from a free. Fr. Caseys added on another three points before Mungret St. Pauls managed their second and third points before the end of the first half. Mungret St. Pauls 0-3 Fr. Caseys 1-5.
Mungret St. Pauls started out strong from the restart bringing the gap back to two points but Fr. Caseys showed their Senior Football experience as they came back with a goal and two points. Mungret St. Pauls kept taking scores when they could but it was Fr. Caseys who were in charge of the game. Mungret St. Pauls have seen what is ahead of them with the Senior Championship and not prepare for it as Fr. Caseys go on to play for the County Final.

U-11 Community Games:
Well done to regional u11 hurling team who won the community games hurling final in Crecora on Friday 7 June 2024. Great tough final game against Patrickswell / Crecora. Regional Team consists of a mix of players from Mungret St Paul’s u10 & u11 squads. Regional beat Mayorstone, Caherdavin, Ballybrown and Murroe Boher in earlier rounds. Regional will now go on to represent Limerick at Munster level. Well done boys !

U-9 Hurling:
On 8 June 2024 our U-9 Hurlers were invited to Na Piarsaigh for a morning of games. There was a great atmosphere in Caherdavin as our players spilt up into three teams and after a quick warm up got stuck into their games. The players were delighted to get to show off their new banner at the Blitz. There was some very impressive hurling on show from all games as each player put everything they had into the games. Well done to all the boys and girls that took part and to the parents and coaches who were there supporting.
