Hard Luck to Ard Soil Rís Harty Cup players Fintan Fitzgerald, Sean Duff, Conor Morgan and the team in their very unfortunate loss to Nenagh CBS in the Final on Saturday 3 February in Ennis.

Minister Visit:
Mungret St. Pauls GAA Club were delighted to welcome Minister of State at the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media and at the Department of Education – Thomas Byrne. It was great to show the Minister around the club to see all the progress on the Club Development. We were also eager to explain the future plans of the club, around the clubhouse and middle pitch. Thanks to all who helped facilitate the night.

Medal Presentation:
On Sunday 4 February 2024, Mungret St. Pauls descended onto the Greenhill Hotel in great style as players, parents and stalwarts of the club arrived for a night to celebrate the amazing year we have had on the pitch. We were delighted to have Limerick Chairperson, Seamus McNamara and Limerick Football Chairperson, Wayne Fitzgerald available to us on the night to present 130 of our players, about 180 medals and 30 lovely hand crafted plaques in recognition of our senior hurlers promotion to Senior A. There were five County titles, a county league and a junior B City football cup on display on the night as each team were brought up to accept their medals at different breaks on the night. It was started with the U-21 hurlers being brought up before the starters were delivered to each table, before the next course the U-21 Football, Junior A Hurlers and the Junior A Footballers were presented their medals. After a fantastic dinner from the Greenhills it was time for the Senior hurlers to get their award to recognise promotion to Senior A and the Intermediate Footballers were brought up for their medals.
There was a very successful raffle on the night and we would like to acknowledge and thank all the people who had a hand in sponsoring, sourcing, contributing and selling the tickets for the many prizes available on the night between table prizes and the raffle prizes.
Thank you to everyone who got their glad rags on and came out on the night which would not have happened without the great work of Kieran O’Brien, a lot of time and effort went into the night that was not seen but it was very much appreciated by all who attended.
Tiny Giants got everyone out onto the dance floor to get a start into this years fitness regime as they pumped out the tunes before the night was finished off with a DJ. A very enjoyable night unfortunatly had to came to a close and the taxis lined up to deliver everyone back to their homes.
