If you have not done so and want a way to increase your steps during January/February why not join in the MyLife’s latest challenge in partnership with the GAA Community & Health. This challenge is in support of GAA club and community members taking part to collectively hit 4,000KM for your club and be entered into the prize draw.
We are asking people to track a collective 4,000km over 5 weeks (that’s roughly the distance around Ireland!) To take part simply register on the My life app (see poster)
The challenge begins on January 8th and runs until 12th February.
The more participants we get, the quicker we will hit the target, so make sure that every step really does count!

Limerick Players:
Congratulations to the following players who have been selected on county panels this year. As a club we are very proud of all the players who go on to wear the green and white. Down through the years Mungret players have always represented Limerick very well and long may this tradition continue. There are 17 players on several squads which includes 3 groups of sisters.
On the Junior team is Carol Bateman, Carol also represented Limerick last year and will be hoping to go one step better and claim All-Ireland victory as Limericks no.1.
Jillian Buckley, Cameryn Moloney, Katie O Mahony, Emma O Rourke and Rachel Somers have all made the minor panel.
Mungret will be well represented at U16 level with 7 players making 2 squads, Anna Coughlan, Caoimhe Hennessey, Cáit Murphy, Abbey Nealon, Róisín O Neill, Molly O Mahony, and Niamh Stackpoole.
At U14 Level Sive Finnerty, Sophia Neville, Eiílís O Neill and Emma Somers have been chosen to don the county colours. We wish them all the very best for the coming season.
