KELLOGGS CUL CAMP
Don’t forget to pre-register your young star into the Kelloggs Cúl
Camp this year. It takes place from Monday 19 to Friday 23 August from
10am to 2.30pm each day. Like last year you have the option to receive
the childrens fantastic gear bag and tops before the camp begins when
you register on line.
Last year we broke our own record with a fantastic 350 children
attending, we are expecting similar numbers this year. As we are the
last week for camps in Limerick and in order to guarantee you get the
correct size tops for your player we recommend you register well in
advance of the camp to ensure you will have your gear.
U-8 HURLERS
On Friday 26 July our U-8 hurlers traveled out to LIT to play in a
blitz. There were 3 teams and each player put in a super performance
against some strong teams. There is a lot of skill in our young
players who are always reminded to keep practicing at home which can
been seen when they play in their games how they improve by putting in
the extra work.
WEST MINOR FOOTBALL
Mungret St. Pauls 2-17 Granagh Ballingarry 3-7
Thursday 1 August in Ballingarry had our second Minor football team
play against the home team in a great finish to the group stages. They
have given a great account of themselves through out the group stages
winning 3 out of the 5 match and with scoring difference end up in
third place. This is the first time the club have put in a second team
at minor football and it has paid off very well giving games to
players who will either progress to Junior or play in Minor again next
year.
