LIMERICK champions Monaleen will look to claim the All-Ireland Junior ‘’B’ hurling series title when renewing rivalry with Tipperary’s Drom-Inch in the decider at Páirc Íde Naofa, Raheenagh this Saturday at 1pm.

Monaleen had lost out to Drom-Inch in the most dramatic fashion when the sides met in the Munster Junior ‘B’ final last month.

However, the Limerick side bounced back to winning ways when easing past Ballinasloe, of Galway, in their All-Ireland semi-final at Killeedy in mid-February.

The sides finished deadlocked at 0-12 each at the end of normal time.

However, Monaleen gained a decisive advantage in extra-time before running out winners on a 0-17 to 0-14 scoreline. Max Ivory accounted for 0-15 of his side’s tally, with 14 of the points coming from placed balls.

Monaleen fell to a dramatic loss to Saturday’s All-Ireland final opponents Drom-Inch when the sides met in their Munster Junior B Hurling Final in Raheenagh in February.

Three goals in added time saw Drom & Inch clinch a stunning 3-8 to 1-13 victory.

The Limerick champions were seven points to the good heading into the closing stages but a hat-trick from Paul Kennedy turned defeat into victory for Drom & Inch.
