ANNUAL FUN RUN/WALK: Monaleen Cancer Support Group are holding their 10th annual 5km/10 km Fun Run/Walk on this Sunday, March 24. The start and finish for the event is Monaleen GAA Clubhouse. The 5Km/10Km run starts at 2pm, with the 10Km walk getting underway at 2.15pm. Registration in Clubhouse for all from 11am or online at

ALL-COUNTY FOOTBALL LEAGUE: Monaleen senior footballers will take on Dromcollogher-Broadford in Division 1 of the all-county football league this Saturday, March 23, at Dromcollogher-Broadford, 5pm. Best of luck to the players and management team. All support greatly appreciated.

LOTTO RESULTS: The latest Lotto draw took place on Saturday, March 16 with the jackpot standing at €7,800. The numbers drawn were 9, 10, 15 and 23. Winners of €50 lucky dips were D. Hession, Hazelhall; M. Fahy @ Club; H. Conlan, J/A Frawley, Fairways. Tickets can be purchased on a weekly basis from local shops and pubs and the draw is held every Thursday night in the club at 10pm.

FUNDRAISER: The table quiz, which was a fundraiser for our catch nets, and was held in Monaleen GAA Clubhouse on Saturday night, proved a great success. The official launch of the 2019 lotto also took place on the night. Big thanks to the quiz organsiers and all those who supported the event by attending on the night.
