What a weekend of football! Huge congratulations to our three U13 teams for their incredible performances in the finals.
U13 Football League Division 1 Cup Final Mungret St Paul’s 2-4 Monaleen (U13) 4-9 U13 Football League Division 4 Shield Final Monaleen (U13) 0-10 Knockaderry 1-3
U13 Football League Division 3 Cup Final Monaleen (U12) 4-6 Belville Gaels 2-7.
The talent, determination, and teamwork on display shows that the future is incredibly bright for these groups. A massive thank you to all the players, coaches, and parents for the dedication and support. Monaleen abú!
Limerick Senior Footballers:
The Limerick Senior footballers continue their Tailteann cup Championship campaign next weekend with a quarter final clash against Wexford. Best of luck to Tadhg O’Siochrú, Darragh Murray and Conall O Duinn and all involved with the Team & Management
Inaugural Timmy Cosgrave Perpetual Cup:
We’re thrilled to announce the details of our inaugural Timmy Cosgrave Perpetual Cup, taking place on Saturday, June 14th, at the Clubhouse. We warmly welcome Clarinbridge (Galway), Feakle (Clare), and Mount Sion (Waterford) to our clubhouse pitch.
We invite all supporters to join us in celebrating this memorable event, honoring Timmy’s legacy. Let’s come together to cheer on the teams and make it a day to remember.
Monaleen GAA Golf Classic:
Announcing the details of our Monaleen GAA Golf Classic in Ballyneety on September 5th, very kindly sponsored by Hogan Dowling McNamara. If you haven’t participated before, here’s an idea of what’s involved on the day:
* Complimentary Tea/coffee before your round of golf
* Collect your goody bags
* Burger on the 9th tee
* Meal included afterwards in Vines Restaurant Ballyneety
* Prizegiving ceremony from 9pm in Monaleen GAA Club with prizes galore!
This is a great social event and gets lots of support from local businesses in the community.
