Monaleen Ladies Gaelic Football:
It was a big week for our U14 girls, who had two Championship Finals
Our Monaleen Red team played Ballylanders in the A Shield Final. It was touch and go until the last kick of the ball. They showed great character and great fighting spirit to get over the line, resulting in a terrific performance and a terrific win.
Congrats to the girls and the Management team. Final Score: Monaleen (Red) 2-07 v Ballylanders 3-01.
Our Monaleen White team took on Monagea in the D Final. A highly competitive match, with our girls fighting back from behind, twice, to lead going into the last 90seconds, only to be undone by a winning goal by Monagea. Final Score: Monaleen (White) 3-08 v Monagea 4-07
