Well done out Senior hurlers who had an excellent 0-10 to 0-23 win over South Liberties in the second round of the second round of the Bons Secours Hospital County Senior Hurling Championship Group 2.

Monaleen LGFA:
A successful and historic day for our Junior Ladies Football Team & Management and our Club, playing their first Adult Championship fixture as Monaleen, after ten years as Groody Gaels.
We came away with the win, beating Ahane on a scoreline of 2-13 to 2-9. Both teams contributed to what was a fantastic game of football.
Next up for the team is a home game v St Senans on Thursday evening @ 7pm. All support welcome.

Free Cardiac Screening Event:
Monaleen GAA Club is delighted to announce that the Dillon Quirke Foundation will carry out a free cardiac screening event for our underage players (boys and girls), aged between 12 and 18 years old on Wednesday 21st August 2024 in Monaleen National School.
Please note: Spaces are limited to 45 and bookings can ONLY be made online, on a first come first served basis via the following link:

It is recommended to book as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
While the screening itself is free of charge, we would encourage donations to support the invaluable work of the Dillon Quirke Foundation to bring this lifesaving screening to young people across Ireland.
