Monaleen GAA Club Notes:

The latest lotto draw took place last Thursday night the 16th March in the clubhouse.
This draw is kindly sponsored by Pat Tiernan Motors.
The Jackpot was €13,500
The numbers drawn were 21, 35, 12 and 19.
Lotto plus draw numbers were 16, 19, 28 and 3
Luck Dip winners were Siobhan Muldowney, Anita Heffernan, Janice Connolly and Leo/Sandra Morrison.
Next weeks jackpot: €13,800.

LIMERICK Senior Hurlers:
Well done to Donnacha and his Limerick teammates who defeated Wexford on Sunday on a scoreline of 2:20 to 0:15. Limerick will now take on Tipperary in the League semi final next weekend. This fixture is in the TUS Gaelic Grounds with a 7.30pm throw in.

Limerck Senior Footballers:
Hard luck to Donal, Brian and their Limerick teammates who were defeated by Kildare on a scoreline of 3:10 to 2:7 on Sunday last.

Limerck U20 Hurlers:
Well done to Lochlann McHale, Joe Fitzgerald, Darragh Langan and Ronan Lyons on being selected for the Limerick u20 hurling panel. Their first match is away to Waterford on Wednesday of this week. Best of luck to the boys and to Neil Clifford who is a liaison officer for the team.

Limerck Minor Hurlers:
Well done to Tom McCarthy, Dara Ferland, Cian Scully, Mark Purtill and Matthew Fitzgerald on making the Limerick Minor hurling panel for the year. Dara has also been named as vice-captain for the year. Best wishes to the boys and to Tony Power who is a selector with the team. They play the first round tomorrow against Waterford tomorrow evening Tuesday the 21st with a 7pm throw in in Dungarven.

Monaleen GAA Club membership for 2023 is now due. Membership must be processed through Foireann at
For 2023, the club has streamlined its membership rates as follows:
All Adult Players and First Juvenile Players in a family €100.00
A €10 reduction is applied for each subsequent underage player in the same family.
All other Members including coaches/officers/committee members: €75.00
Social Membership: €30.00
All players must pay their membership prior to undertaking any club activities as you are not covered for any injuries prior to membership being paid.

Monaleen GAA Easter Camps 2023:
Easter camps are taking place over the two weeks of the Easter school holidays.
The hurling camp is running from Wednesday the 5th of April until Friday the 7th of April.
The football camp is running from Tuesday the 11th of April until Thursday the 13th of April.
Cost of this is €60 per child per camp.

Feile Peil na nOg:
Feile was cancelled last weekend and is now scheduled to take place next Saturday the 25th of March out in Mungret. Monaleen are in Roinn A alongside Oola, Fr. Caseys, Claughaun and Mungret. Our second team are in Roinn C Group 1 alongside South Liberties, Caherconlish and Cappamore.

We have partnered up with *SportsKey* to manage our Pitch & facilities booking.
This will streamline our booking system and remove the need to book via WhatsApp , text, emails, call etc.
Coaches need to log in and create a username & password via the below link.
Choose the slot you need and complete the booking.
Trainings are 1 Hour slot.
Matches/blitz are 1.5 Hour Slots
The booking is only complete when you receive a confirmation approval from the administrator.
Championship fixtures will be inputted when released in the spring. Championship as always will override trainings. It’s the responsibility of the coaches to monitor the calendar to ensure they are up to speed with changes.
