MONALEEN GEAR: There is one more collection night for the COBI sports Christmas gear orders on this Wednesday night, December 15 between 6.30pm and 8pm in the clubhouse.
ROAD HURLING: The popular Monaleen Road Hurling event will take place this year on 26th of December 2021. (This is obviously pending government restrictions at Christmas).
The organisers are endeavouring to run this event in a safe and secure way to ensure everyone’s safety. A restricted number of teams will be participating this year. Registration is now underway. Call into Morrison’s Pub with your Team and €30 registration fee today. The timesheet is also available in Morrisons and you must select the time you wish to play. Arrive at the start line in time to puck off. Please do not arrive at the start line without registering. This is first come first served, so get your name in early. Start time will be 9.30 at the railway line. Team of 3 €10 each. Any U15 player must be accompanied by an adult.
EVERY STEP COUNTS: Monaleen GAA club is now registered with the Every Step Counts Challenge which runs from January 12th to February 16th. Download the MyLife App, join the Munster Every Step Counts Challenge, select Co. Limerick, then select Monaleen GAA club. You will need to record your distances in the app, either manually or via an electronic device, eg Fitbit, Samsung Health or any similar device or app. It’s a nice challenge to look forward to in January, and is a great way of encouraging is out the door.
