MUNSTER FOOTBALL: Commiserations to the Limerick senior footballers who lost out to Cork in their Munster semi-final at Páirc Uí Rinn on Saturday night last. Limerick paid a heavy price for a slow start to the game, never reaching the levels they had in the impressive first round win away to Tipperary. Goalkeeper Donal O’Sullivan, of Monaleen, is joint-captain with Limerick this year. Donal scored three points of Limerick’s total, including two ’45s and a pointed free. Limerick must now regroup for the All-Ireland qualifier series.
