BACK ON THE FIELD: Supporting players return after lockdown. The past fourteen months have been difficult for many during the COVID-19 pandemic. Huge credit must go to all clubs in supporting your players, members and communities during this time. As our adult players return to the playing field, Cavan GAA Health & Wellbeing Committee hosted a wellbeing webinar with Dr. Paul Gaffney (Clinical Psychologist HSE & Cavan Senior Footballers) and Ciaran Boylan (Assistant Psychologist) on Wednesday 19th May. The aim of this webinar was to help those coaching / working with our adult players to support these players through the current challenges.
