MONALEEN CAMOIGE NOTES:
U12s
Well done to our fantastic under 12 Camogie team. They played matches against Na Piarsaigh in Na Piarsaigh GAA club at 11:00am this Sunday morning. Yet again we saw some brilliant skill and determination on show from our team. They should all be very proud of themselves.
U11s
On Sat April 23rd 30 girls, consisting of 25 u11s and 5 u12s, travelled out to Sixmilebridge to play a strong Sixmilebridge u12 selection. We fielded two teams who each got to play two games.
Every ball was keenly contested from the off, with neither team shying away from the challenges. What our girls lacked in size, they more than made up for with heart, determination and no little skill.
The standard of camogie played by both teams was very impressive and games like these against quality opposition only brings them on more.
Our next game will Sat May 7th, when we will again host an u11 blitz in the clubhouse pitch.
U10s
Our U10s has a Hugely successful first bus trip away to the lovely setting of Scariff. Very competitive games and a good opportunity for the girls to practice everything they have been learning in training. Well done to all the girls, the coaches are very proud of them.
