LIT County Premier Intermediate Hurling Championship Final – An All South Affair

It will an All South, LIT County Premier Hurling Championship Final for The Michael Fox Memorial Cup after Bruff and Garryspillane won their Semi Final games this afternoon, played in poor weather conditions in Kilmallock

In the opening game of a double header, Bruff scored a one point win over Mungret St Paul’s on a 1.17 to 0.19 scoreline after extra time was played after the sides finished level Bruff 1.14 Mungret St Paul’s 0.17 after 60 minutes of play.

In the second game Garryspillane scored a 1.14 to 0.13 over Kildimo Pallaskenry who had two players sent off during the game. The Bouncers led at the interval by 1.08 to 0.06

Meanwhile another South Club, Blackrock ensured their place in the Premier Intermediate Championship in 2019 after they defeated Feohanagh in the relegation Play Off by 0.15 to 0.11 played in a rain swept Bruff on ths Saturday afternoon.
