LIMERICK SENIOR HURLERS GET THEIR 2022 YEAR OFF TO A START ON SUNDAY
On this Sunday 16th. January, Limerick Senior Hurlers will play their first game of 2022 when they play Kerry in the Semi Final of Co-Op Superstores Munster Hurling Cup at TUS Gaelic Grounds at 2pm.It will also be Limerick’s first game since winning the All Ireland Senior Hurling Championship Final on Sunday 22nd. August in Croke Park to retain the Liam MacCarthy Cup and bring it back to Shannonside for the third time in the last four years.
Kerry sprang a surprise on Saturday afternoon last when they scored a victory over Tipperary in their Quarter Final game played in Austin Stack Park Tralee to set up a Semi Final meeting with Limerick.
The Limerick team will be announced on this Friday at 9pm and will be published on Limerick GAA Social Media Platforms.
