LIMERICK SCOR NOTES
Limerick Scór was back in action for the 1st time since the pandemic hit. And it came back in fine style to the newly refurbished Pallasgreen Community Centre on Saturday last.
There was a plethora of new clubs in this years competition as well as some of our old faithfuls. Banogue came back with a bang to Scór after a few years break and were crowned county champions in no less then 3 competitions, Pallasgreen were hot on their heels taking 2 titles with Athea & Newcastle West claiming 1 each.
Limerick GAA’s new Irish Cultural Officer Veronica Callinan was delighted to oversee a very succesful day and Veronica had a birds eye view as she was an outstanding Bean An Tí for the afternoon.
Limerick winners will now move forward to the Munster Scór na nóg finals which will take place in Cashel Co. Tpperary on Sunday April 3rd 2022. Limerick will do battle with the winners from Cork , Tipperary , Kerry , Waterford and Clare for a coveted Munster title and a spot in the All Ireland final in the INEC in Killarney in May.
