Peil na nOg Semi Final:
A last minute goal broke the hearts of the U15 footballers in their Peil na Nog semi final against Na Piarsiagh in Caherdavin last Sunday morning. In a game that was nip and tuck throughout but a goal in the last minute by Na Piarsaigh saw them over the line by 2-4 to 1-3. Team; James Foley, Jack O’Dwyer, Nicholas Stokes, Gerard Grace, Cathal Mckenna, James Quirke, Jack McConnell, Paddy O’Dwyer, Conor Lane, Noah Deere, Elliott Stokes, Sean McNamara, Noah Murphy Ryan, Paddy Hourigan, Kevin Currans. East Junior Hurling League:
The junior B hurlers kicked off their East campaign with a 12noon throw in with Ballybricken/Bohermore in Caherelly last Sunday. It was fine display by Pallas who took the spoils on the day by 1-20 to 1-10.
Limerick Minor Hurling:
Hard luck to Cathal McKenna and his Limerick team mates as they suffered a 1-16 to 1-10 defeat to Cork in Pairc Ui Chaoimh last week. We wish them better fortune in the second round when they face Clare in Sixmilebridge this Thursday evening.
Munster LGFA U16B Final:
A gallant display by the Limerick U16 ladies football team and with our own Emily Franklin in the line up wasn’t enough as Tipperary took the honours in the Sharon O’Keeffe Tournament final in Mallow sports complex last Sunday by 1-11 to 2-6.
Munster Hurling Ticket Draw:
The club launched its Munster championship ticket draw for the Limerick Clare first round in Ennis on Sunday April 20th. For a chance to win two tickets to this eagerly awaited game the club are selling lines for 10 each. The draw will take place on Saturday morning April 19th.
