Limerick junior side Feenagh-Kilmeedy in Clare for Munster club action:
By John Keogh
FEENAGH-KILMEEDY fly the Limerick flag in Munster this Saturday afternoon when they make the trip to Ennis to take on The Banner in the provincial club junior hurling semi-final.
The west Limerick outfit are looking to recover from their heartbreaking penalty shoot-out county final loss to Mungret St Paul’s at Cusack Park against their Clare opponents. The club also tasted defeat in the Premier Junior A football final a week ago.
They face a Banner outfit that have Clare youngster Shane Meehan in their side and Feenagh-Kilmeedy will need a big performance to reach the Munster final.
Feenagh-Kilmeedy have plenty of firepower of their own with captain Maurice Fitzgibbbon one of the star performers of the Limerick championship and in the final defeat.
That game has a 1.30pm start on Saturday and is being streamed live by Munster GAA.
