LIMERICK JOIN EXCLUSIVE THREE-IN-A-ROW CLUB

History-makers! Limerick hurlers have guaranteed themselves a
place in the county’s folklore by retaining the All-Ireland crown, a
win that took them into the exclusive three-in-a-row club.
It’s the first time Limerick have won the three-in-a-row, a notable
success which only Cork, Kilkenny and Tipperary had previously
achieved. Kilkenny did their best to prevent Limerick completing the
treble but came up two points short in a thrilling encounter played
before a full house in Croke Park.
It was Limerick’s fourth All-Ireland win in five seasons, having also
won in 2018. It’s their 11th All-Ireland success.
