Limerick GAA hits the Jungle for one night only
I’m A Celb Get Me Out of Here!
Limerick GAA are delighted to announce they are hosting a fundraiser with a difference, Im A Celeb Get Me Out of Here on Friday 27th September 2019, in the South Court Hotel at 7.15pm.
This is an opportunity for the sporting public of Limerick to get behind our teams. All finances raised from this event will go towards the overall support of Limerick Hurling & Football teams in 2019/2020.
This event is very like the ITV Show, with 2 teams (Team Snake Rock & Team Croc Creek) competing against each other for King/Queen of the Jungle. The teams are challenged to collect stars and overcoming their greatest fears of the Jungle! 24 Contestants become camp mates for the night and will be put to the test by taking part in a variety of Bush Tucker Trials. Who can survive the Hell Holes, Bugs and snakes and devour gourmet critters to overcome a series of spine tingling and tension filled trials to beat their opponents, and be crowned King/Queen of the Jungle?
This Tuesday evening saw the launch hosted by CLUB Limerick take place at the Great National South Court Hotel, where 24 sponsors & 24 participants were paired off in a facebook live stream of the draw, which included an unexpected visitor “Sylvester The Snake”, just to prepare the participants for what lies ahead on 27th September 2019.
Speaking at the Launch for this event, John Cregan, Chairperson Limerick GAA, said “this will be a great opportunity for all supporters of Limerick GAA to get behind your county teams. In supporting this event you are not only getting behind your county but you will have the benefit of a fantastic night out in what promises to be a fun filled night for all the family to enjoy.
