U13:
Hard luck to our u13 footballers who narrowly lost the shield football final to Monaleen in the rain in Askeaton.
It was a game that saw end to end action, however it was the City men’s better start that stayed with them on the scoreboard right to the finish. Our boys battled bravely and hard all through and we are very proud of the gallant effort they made not just tonight but over the past few weeks where they have been out night after night playing in different grades and competitions.
The boys were treated to a well deserved Superbite meal afterwards as a token of appreciation for those efforts. Onwards and upwards, the season is only in its infancy for these very fine Knockaderry young men.
County Teams:
The very best of luck to the Limerick Hurlers and Footballers who both play in Croke Park this weekend. Luimneach Abú
Junior B Football Championship:
There will be no Junior B football championship fixtures this week due to the progress of the Limerick football team.

Cardiac Screening:
Thanks to the Dylan Quirke Foundation who will host a cardiac screening day for 45 young people from Knockaderry from 9.30am to 5pm in the Halla Mor, on today Wednesday, June 18th. This is a crucial service in helping detect any Cardiac abnormalities. We thank Darragh Moloney for his time, effort and financial contribution in helping make this happen for our community.
