MUNSTER JUNIOR B FOOTBALL –RANDAL ÓG CROWNED CHAMPIONS

We would like acknowledge and thank all those who helped out yesterday both at the field and in the Halla for the Munster Junior B Football Final Replay. Again this has been a hugely successful competition and great fundraiser for the club. Many thanks to the Community Council for their support and sponsorship of Man of the match award. There have been fantastic games over the last few months which has helped to reignite this competition post Covid-19. We thank each club for their co-operation in making it a very successful tournament. We would like to acknowledge the Munster Council, Limerick Co Board, Referees and media for their help, co-operation and support for this fantastic competition.

AHALIN NS – MINI 7s CONGRATULATIONS
Congrats to Ahalin NS who won the schools mini 7s competition hosted in Knockaderry last week, they defeated Raheenagh in the final, 2.1 to 0.1. They now qualify for the county semi finals which will take place this week, well done all (Photo ATTACHED)

KNOCKADERRY GOES VINTAGE
There is a charity vintage run in aid of Milford Care Centre on Sunday 22nd May in the village. Registration from 11.30am – Music afterwards in Scanlons Bar. All Welcome.
CLUB HISTORY – PATRONS SOUGHT
Under the direction of local historian Sean Liston and associated committee, we are currently compiling a history of our GAA club which will be published in the coming months. A huge amount of work has been undertaken behind the scenes in this project. We are now asking Individuals, Organisations or Businesses if they would be able to support this project by contributing towards the printing costs and in doing so will be acknowledged on our Patrons page in the book at a cost of €50 per patron.
