KILTEELY/DROMKEEN GAA CLUB NOTES

We concluded our group stage with a workman like win over a spirited Crecora in windswept Fedamore on Sunday morning last.

We struggled in the first half, finding ourselves 1.1 to 0.6 down after 25 minutes with the goal coming from Denis O’Dea. Just before the break we added 1-1 with Declan Kenny grabbing the goal to lead 2-2 to 0-6.

The introduction of Robbie Holmes to midfield had an immediate impact and we began to assert our authority. We added some excellent points mainly through Robbie and Denis O’Dea to run out comfortable winners in the end.

Our long awaited League final takes place this Friday at 7.30 in Martinstown V Monaleen, all support greatly appreciated

Minor Football

The Club would like to wish Josh Sheehan a speedy recovery from a nasty injury recently during the Minor A Football East Final whilst playing for Caherconlish. It has been a horrific year for injuries for the Club, most have now recovered but for those still out injured we wish them a full recovery.
