Killeedy GAA would like to extend their deepest sympathies to the Ford family on the death of their mother Mary Ford.

Your club needs you to help with hitting 4,000kms for our clubs to be in the draw for the prize. It started last Wednesday and Killeedy already have 1,377kms clocked after 5 days and are in 46th place in Munster (As of Sunday 30th Jan). Brilliant work by everyone and great to see so many people out and about and participating in this Challenge

3. Click on “Social”

5. Click on “Killeedy GAA & Camogie Healthy Club Project”
6. In settings, go to tracking devices and link your fitness tracking device ( if any problems pls contact a member of the Healthy Club Team)
7. Start walking between January 19th – Feb 23 and tracking all your steps…
Remember, this is a Virtual Challenge and people from all over the world can help Killeedy achieve our target so together, while apart we can be a team. We hope what will be a healthy 2022 for you all
‘‘Ireland Lights Up’’ walking campaign returns in January in partnership with the GAA and Operation Transformation to ensure that ‘Ireland Lights Up’ by turning on their floodlights. Participating clubs will be asked to open their gates on any or all evenings for the duration of the campaign
The Walkway in Killeedy will be open to the general public (non members of GAA /Camogie) on Mondays from 24th (7-8pm)January to the end of this campaign
Club Members are welcome to use the walkway at any time
On Mondays between 7-8pm members of the Healthy Club Team will be there for registration, to keep track of who is using the facilities

Dads & Lads
Getting back into action, we will continue with a Ball-Wall session on Thursday nights with a new time of 8:30pm. Any non-player club members are very welcome to join.
We are working towards preparation for a football blitz in April and plenty of players needed.
Training (Ballwall sessions) each week in Raheenagh on Thursdays @7:30pm. Training also each Monday night and time to be confirmed.

Garda Vetting and Child Safeguarding:
All coaches / Mentors / Volunteers over 16 years involved with children under the age of 18 years are required to have up to date Garda Vetting and Child Safeguarding. Young people between the ages of 16-18 years fulfilling the role of responsibility with children will need parental consent.
