KILLEEDY GAA CLUB NOTES
All Club Officers & Club Draw Promoters would like to take this opportunity to thank you everyone who continues to contribute to the running & upkeep of our club. Without your support we would not have the outstanding facilities that we have on our doorstep for all members to use – Fully Lit & tarmaced walkway, Ball-Wall & Astroturf, Playground & two pitches, all of which have been a much needed lifeline for a lot of people during these strange times.
Killeedy GAA Christmas Draw:
Killeedy GAA have launched our upcoming Christmas Club Draw.
Our Monster Club Draw will be held on Friday 10th December, €5,000 in prizes money divided into 17 prizes. Your support would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you to everyone who has signed up so far, all the promoters are busy doing the rounds & calling to all their past Draw members. If you wish to join and haven’t been contacted, please call Micheal(Haulie) Barry on 086-3389432. This fundraiser pays for the running costs & maintenance of our top class facilities so your support is greatly appreciated.
Children’s Officer Killeedy GAA
Garda Vetting and Child Safeguarding:
All coaches / Mentors / Volunteers over 16 years involved with children under the age of 18 years are required to have up to date Garda Vetting and Child Safeguarding. Young people between the ages of 16-18 years fulfilling the role of responsibility with children will need parental consent. Dad’s & Lads: Reminder, to bring on our level of fitness and ‘have the crack’, we will have a ballwall session each Thursday between 8pm and 9pm. If this forum of activity interests you, come on next Thursday to the ballwall..

This year as a consequence of COVID-19, the ‘Blanket Run, Walk, Row or Cycle’ will be completed by participants at their own locations while adhering to local restrictions & guidelines.

This year, participants have a choice to RUN, WALK, ROW or CYCLE (3km or 5km), at their own locations, between the 10th – 12th of December.
(Please always adhere to local Covid guidelines and restrictions)
All proceeds will go to very worthwhile local charities St. Vincent de Paul & Thomond House, who do amazing work providing support services for people at risk and homeless in Limerick.
