KILLEEDY GAA CLUB NOTES

U6s: Curtin Shield Final.

Last Sunday evening, Tournafulla and Killeedy U6s played the Curtin Shield in Raheenagh. The excitement before the match reached near heights of a county final, and the game itself did not disappoint. Both teams played great hurling and the shield gets to stay in Killeedy for another year. On behalf of the Curtin family, Diarmuid Mullaney presented the shield to this U6 winners. For their years effort, all the children were treated to after match celebrations in Rustic Takeaway, Broadford.

U10s: Mick Browne Memorial Shield Final

On Sunday evening last, Templeglantine travelled down to us, to play in the U10 Mick Browne Memorial Shield Final.

After a great evening of hurling, it was Killeedy who came out on top.

We had some great performances all over the field and a lot of different scorers. Members of the Browne family were there to present the shield and medal, to both Killeedy and Templeglantine.

Afterwards, all the players were treated to chips, chicken, burgers in Rustic Takeway, Broadford.
